So last night got to go on the official Cemetery Tour and had such a blast that can’t wait for next week’s tour of Mountain View. So great to hear about some of the amazing history that is sometimes forgotten in this city. And sometimes what people did back then, now have strange urge to tar and feather someone now. There is so much history in this town that people seem to just ignore or don’t think twice about.
There was mention of creating a Cemetery Preservation Society, if I live in town I would so be on that like a vampire on a neck. Wish I knew about one in Calgary since sometimes I’m just weird and like weird things that normally wouldn’t interest any “normal” girl in her twenties.
Will certainly be taking my camera with me next week since haven’t gotten to photograph there yet. Plus might have to take a quick visit to so people that rest there. One who just last week has been gone 20 years and yet is still unfazed in my memory like he was just here yesterday.
